What Did We Do In Tioman?

We arrived at the jetty at 9.30am.

Played in the waters till lunch time.

Went jungle trekking after lunch.

Had gay moments while jungle trekking.

Made sure Adrian does not get a proper shot while jungle trekking.

Finally arrived at the falls.

Trekked back to our village for dinner.

Rented our snorkelling gear for tomorrow.

Played Big 2 till 1am.

Got up early the next day for snorkeling.

Snorkeled.

And snorkeled.

We basically spent the entire day snorkeling.

Just had to unwind by playing Big 2.

Then we went down to the beach again to suck cock.

At night, we had the most wonderful BBQ dinner.

After which, we chatted the night away.

And woke up the next to day to play in the waters for one last time.

It was the most fun I have had in a long, long time. A lot more pictures here.

Island Getaway Plan

For this semester break, the gang planned for a 3 days 2 nights island getaway to Pulau Tioman. Work has been piling up like mad back in uni and this trip is definitely the best opportunity for us to de-stress and let loose!

Or at least we will try.

College Archery Competition

Presenting the K16/17 archery team representatives:

No Eye See

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the worst player in the team:

Me

This is Adrian being pissed at the worst player in the team:

My points weren't even enough to be counted in the score sheet

This is my roommate taking revenge for me:

Balls-eye

Normie aims high:

Going trigger happy

Normie aims low:

Straight men do not see this as problem

Actually, these pictures weren't as funny as compared to the reactions we got from the athletes there while we were snapping these photos. Heheh. Sigh, we are hopeless a bunch. Not even an archery competition participated by state representatives and refereed by highly experienced officials could get us to put on a serious attitude, not even for a minute.

Our college team got 6th out of 10. Not bad considering we only trained for 2 weeks :)

It's Bound To Happen

Kinda makes you wonder what genre of music is gonna be hot for the next generation. Assuming of course, if the next generation still uses the term, "hot".

Singfest 2008

For the past two months, Eve, Wanyean and I have been planning a trip down to Singapore to watch one of the most highly anticipated music festivals in South East Asia; the Singfest 2008. Last Sunday, we went to the said event and well.... it was everything we thought it would be and more!

First up was the beautiful church singer turned pop star; Stacie Orrico! I have been listening to her 'Beautiful Awakening' album since last year so her performance that day, to me, was like a huge karaoke session. Perfect way to warm up to the event:

Stacie Orrico - Stuck On You

Right after her was Jamie Scott and The Town. This performance was alright. I only knew two of his songs which was Weeping Willow and Standing In The Rain. This is him performing his new single, Just Kiss Me:

Jamie Scott - Just Kiss Me

After Jamie Scott performed his last song, the crowd started moving forward. We knew someone big was gonna perform up next but we didn't know who! After 10 minutes of waiting, wouldn't you know it, One Republic appeared. The crowd went understandably crazy!

One Republic - Stop And Stare

Now we thought that after One Republic, the crowd was gonna back off a bit. Boy were we wrong :( Things got even more packed in front after that because Panic At The Disco was performing next!!

Panic At The Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedy

Ok by now, we were already perspiring like mad but this time, it was OUR turn to push further up in front! All because JASON MRAZ IS UP NEXT!! It took his crew so damn long to set up his instruments, about 20 minutes. But all that patience was worth it when he finally appeared on stage!

Jason Mraz - I'm Yours

He was undoubtedly the top act of Singfest 2008. His charismatic performance got the ENTIRE field to sing and dance! (and maybe steal things, heeeee) Next up was Rick Astley. You could actually see the crowd go, "Rick, who?" and proceed to use his time slot as dinner time. We too, gave up our front row spots to grab a bite.

Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up

*Burp* After dinner Rick Astley, we came back only to find that the crowd are already packed like sardines in the middle. There was no way we could go back to our original spots so we downgraded and took a place somewhere at the sides. Apparently, the crowd was all hyped up for the next hot act, The Pussycat Dolls!

Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up

My nose almost bled. Coming up after the PCD was the main act of the night, Ms. Keys herself. Problem was, she took TOO long to set up her instruments! By the time she appeared on stage, we were so tired that we just left the show midway. Anyway, here's one of her songs that she performed that night:

Alicia Keys - No One

Although we were pretty worn out (been shaking booty and singing our lungs out for 11 hours straight), we were still very much smiling and humming tunes by Jason Mraz on the way back to the car. It was a really, really good day.

Having good company helped too :D More pictures over here.
